Let It Rain

Returning to her provincial home in the south of France, feminist politician Agathe Villanova (Agnès Jaoui) struggles to reconcile herself with the old-fashioned family she left behind, as well as the undignified demands of her profession. After an interview for a political documentary falls flat, Agathe faces further challenges in dealing with her sister, Florence (Pascale Arbillot), and her lover, Antoine (Frédéric Pierrot).

"(PARIS) Quand il n'interprète pas un personnage qu'il a lui-même écrit, Jean-Pierre Bacri tombe amoureux de l'écriture des autres. Pour celle de Pascal Bonitzer, il a eu le coup de foudre.

 Il est probablement le plus célèbre bougon du cinéma français. Râleur professionnel à l'écran. Parfois aussi dans la vie. Comme lorsqu'il prend le micro aux César pour dénoncer les injustices sociales ou les conditions des artisans avec qui il travaille sur les plateaux de cinéma. Avec sa complice Agnès Jaoui, avec qui il a vécu pendant plusieurs années, Jean-Pierre Bacri forme aussi l'un des tandems d'écriture les plus redoutables de la scène artistique française."
