Jean-Pierre Bacri has finished shooting Les Temps Difficiles (international title C'est la vie)  the new comedy by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano (Les Intouchables, Samba).

 ...."The cast for this new opus features Jean-Pierre Bacri (a five-time nominee for the César Award for Best Actor, notably for his roles in The Taste of Others in 2001, Feelings in 2004 and The Very Private Life of Mister Sim in 2016), Gilles Lellouche (nominated for the César Award for Best Supporting Actor in Little White Lies , and who was at the top of his game in The Connection and The Clearstream Affair), Jean-Paul Rouve (Sans arme, ni haine, ni violence; Nobody Else But You; Les Tuche 1 and 2), Hélène Vincent (nominated for the 2013 César for Best Actress for her performance in A Few Hours of Spring), Canadian actress Suzanne Clément (Best Actress in Cannes’ Un Certain Regard in 2012 for her role in Laurence Anyways and equally adored for her role in Mommy), Benjamin Lavernhe, Judith Chemla, William Lebghil and Yves Heck.


Penned by both directors, the screenplay takes place at Pierre and Helena’s wedding reception, looking at it from the behind-the-scenes perspectives of several characters: the caterer, the photographer, the DJ-MC-singer, the cooks, a brigade of waitstaff and so on. The duo responsible for The Intouchables is set to finish principal photography for their sixth feature, an ensemble film produced by Quad Films and sold by Gaumont...
